Corey graduated from East Tennessee State University’s BSN and MSN programs in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He spent one year in the emergency room as a Registered Nurse (RN), moving on to spend four years as a cardiac and intravenous specialist RN. After completing his graduate studies, he joined our family medicine practice as a Nurse Practitioner and has worked in the family practice setting since May 2016. His clinical interests include cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.

Outside of Greenbrier Medical’s office, you may find Corey on the mountainous roads of East Tennessee as a road cyclist, throwing down watts on some steep grades. One may also spot Corey jogging on one of his mid-/post-day 5ks in between and after seeing patients during our office hours. Corey enjoys travel as well, having been throughout the United States exploring National Parks. He has also spent some time out of the country for some smashingly adventurous European travels. Corey has been blessed with a beautiful wife, Laura, as well as a beautiful baby girl born in 2018. His future plans include raising his daughter to have the best opportunities in life that she can possibly have.
